Drain-All 1700 Removes Condensate From Compressed Air - CAPS

Posted on 30th May 2013 in

CAPS Australia, the largest locally owned compressed air and power solutions company, has introduced the Drain-All 1700 to its large range of air treatment products.

Compressed Air Condensate RemovalDesigned for removing condensate from compressed air systems, the robust and highly reliable Drain-All 1700 can handle pressures up to 11.72 barg and liquid temperatures up to 76°C. Built to withstand highly demanding applications, it weighs approximately 10 kg and has very few moving parts, ensuring minimal maintenance requirements.

“With the goal of condensate drains being to remove the condensate from the pressurised air system safely and in an environmentally responsible manner, the Drain-All 1700 certainly meets this goal with its green credentials,” said William Chan, Gas and Special Projects Manager for CAPS Australia. Since it is completely pneumatic, it does not require any electricity and can be easily installed using simple piping connections at any point in a system including remote locations, hard to reach points where energy isn’t available, or areas at risk of explosion.

“It’s automatic air-operation works to minimise blow down and reduce wasted expensive system pressure. In addition, each individual trap is activated only when required, in line with the needs of your air compressor system, so users will not have to adjust timers after installation,” adds Chan.

CAPS Australia has a full range of Drain-All specially designed auto drain products in it’s air treatment range that are suitable from corrosion condensate, high pressure (up to 82 barg), high temperature (up to 175°C) and vacuum applications.
