CAPS, Australia’s largest locally owned provider of industrial compressed air solutions, is proud to address the need of the growing number of medium sized industrial users with the Australian release of extensions to its highly popular Ingersoll Rand R-Series range. Now available in a 30 to 37 kW, and 55 to 75 kW variable speed configuration, users will benefit from enhanced energy efficiency, ease of use, reliability and productivity.

Ingersoll Rand R-Series CompressorWith several features to modify air consumption based on working conditions, owners can now save more on energy use, and be guaranteed remove their compressor can handle the most demanding applications. “The new compressors added to the Ingersoll Rand R-Series range offer compressed air users many of the advanced features that were only previously available in Ingersoll Rand’s 90 to 160 kW larger compressors,’’ said Dino Alessio, Product Manager for Rotary Screw Compressors for CAPS.

The new R-Series 30 to 37 kW range offers access to the Xe-Series controller, allowing users to communicate, control and view data from any PC, tablet or smartphone via the Internet, and can send automatic email notifications of trips and warnings to designated maintenance personnel. V-Shield technology is a superior configuration using stainless steel pipes, durable metal-flex hoses and a vibration isolation system that creates a leak free compressor package, which has been been used extensively across the 90–160 kW R-Series. Sequential cooling significantly increases uptime by avoiding the thermal stress that can compromise the reliability of integrated coolers. “Owners can further benefit from PAC protection, which is an integrated and intelligent system that continuously monitors key operating parameters and adapts to prevent unexpected downtime, guaranteeing onsite reliability,’’ added Alessio.

Users with smaller compressed air requirements that have varying operational needs throughout the day will benefit from the addition of the premium efficiency offered in the Ingersoll Rand 55 to 75 kW R-Series variable speed drive compressor range, which can greatly assist companies save on energy use as it quickly adapts its air output to suit site requirements.
