Solution

12x Airman 400cfm and 4x Airman 185cfm portable diesel towable compressors were purchased to provide for easy transportability, suiting the varied needs of the Hertel Modern services team. To meet stringent (mine) site standards, several enhancements were made to ensure that all compressors surpassed all requirements, including special air filtration systems (for the site’s very dusty environmental conditions), customised certification and fittings. The safety and environmental management credentials of the machine were increased with several standard options including emergency stop buttons, Battery isolators, fire extinguishers and oil containment bunding.

Hertel Modern was extremely impressed with the performance of the Airman compressors, that they ordered a further 12 400cfm portable diesel compressors few months later.
