The contract, conceivably the most significant in CAPS’ 38 year history, was recently finalised. This was CAPS’ second time working with project developer, Lend Lease, following a successful bid for the installation of power generators into Sydney’s MidCity during its construction in 2009.
Lend Lease’s latest development, Barangaroo South, is a major Asia-Pacific commercial hub, establishing a spectacular waterfront home for international and local financial and professional services organisations, with large floor plate, premium grade energy efficient office space. At the heart of the precinct sits International Towers Sydney, three world class office buildings where CAPS completed work.

Generators supplied and installedÂ
The scope of CAPS’ role in the precinct included the supply, installation, commissioning and warranty of generators, control systems with load management, exhaust systems, acoustics including floating slabs, fuel storage and transfer systems.
CAPS also managed the provision of documentation such as program, drawings, manuals and quality and safety plans.
